It’s officially move-in month ! We are so excited to see you guys 🥹
Here are some useful things to know about The City Arrivals before you come to collect your keys. The City has limited parking and therefore we would like to ensure everyone is mindful about their allocated 1.5 hour slot. Once your time is up, please feel free to use the free car park available on Central Campus across the road. There will be plenty of signage and staff to guide you there.
We will be waiting for you in the Sir Bob Burgess building which is next to the multi-storey car park. If you arrive after 5pm, please head over The City reception (also sometimes known as Freemen’s Common reception).
To make moving in easier we recommend hiring or purchasing a little trolley to help you carry things from your car to your room. It’ll come in handy for when you move out too. Unfortunately we don’t have any available to lend out 😢🧳
One last thing, make sure you have a look on our reslife website for the upcoming events waiting for you this academic year. The events will be up on reslife.le.ac.uk, and in particular, make sure you register to attend our Welcome Festival taking place at both sites (there’ll be freebies…).
