‼️🇵🇸*REMINDER*🇵🇸‼️

*Elbit Demo Friday 29 May 3-5pm*✊🏽

This Friday from 3-5pm we are demonstrating outside Leicester’s Elbit Factory.

Elbit Systems is an Israeli-owned weapons manufacturer; they produce drone components which are then used to kill civilians in Palestine and Lebanon.

Leicester does not support genocide. Leicester is and has always been anti-racist, anti-apartheid and anti-genocide. As residents of Leicester we have a duty to ensure that Elbit Systems is shut down. We refuse to let our city be complicit in war crimes and crimes against humanity.

This Friday, show up, speak up and be counted. Bring your family and friends, bring new people to the demonstration, all are welcome.

Date: Friday 29 May 2026
Time: 3-5PM
Location: UAV Tactical Systems, Meridian Business Park, Meridian East, LE19 1WZ/LE19 1TP

‼️SHUT ELBIT DOWN COMMUNITY DEMONSTRATION ‼️

On Friday 29 May, from 3-5pm, pro-Palestine solidarity organisations across Leicester will come together for a community demonstration outside the death factory on our doorstep.

UAV Systems is owned by the infamous Elbit Systems- an Israeli-owned arms manufacturing corporation who boast testing their weapons on Palestinian civilians.

The ongoing genocide in Gaza, the ethnic cleansing, and the expansion of illegal settlements across Palestine, Lebanon and Syria is simply unacceptable and must stop immediately. Israel, and all States complicit, including the United Kingdom *must* be held accountable. We are ashamed that Elbit weapons factories continue to function on our doorstep.

The demonstration is aimed at all those in Leicester, and the wider community who oppose the genocide of Palestinians, the illegal “wars” on Lebanon and Iran and the manufacture of weapons such as drones, launchpads, and command control centres used to kill children and their parents with impunity across the Middle East.

We urge you to join us and stand up and be counted, especially if you have never been before.

There will be food, speakers and other activities. Everyone is welcome.

April 17 marks Palestinian Prisoners’ Day -

- a day which highlights the struggle of the thousands of Palestinian hostages held unjustly in Israeli prisons.

Since even before Israel’s genocide in Gaza began, Israel has intensified its criminalisation of Palestinians, detaining and imprisoning thousands without charge, denying them any sort of legal proceeding whilst subjecting them to torture and inhumane conditions - with the rise of the recent death penalty the inhumanity has escalated to horrifying levels.

Our hostages remain the compass of our struggle and we must honour them all by demanding their immediate release now.

Join us on Friday 17 April, Leicester Clock Tower, 5-6pm to commemorate Palestinian Prisoners Day.

✉️ Join us and write to the 33 prisoners incarcerated in Britain for taking action against the Zionist war machine ⚒️

Prisoners are the compass of our liberation struggle. Palestinian prisoners face the forefront of colonial violence, yet remain steadfast in their organised resistance in Zionist prisons, despite the occupation’s attempts to crush their revolutionary dissent.

And in Britain, resisting imperial violence from its core can lead to years on remand without trial. With Umer Khalid due to start his water strike tonight, we must follow the calls of the Palestinian resistance and our own prisoners to escalate against the Zionist settler project.

Come and write a letter of solidarity to our political prisoners, to help break their isolation imposed by the prison walls

‼️ LEICESTER STUDENTS CONVICTED FOR UNIVERSITY OCCUPATION‼️

On the 15th of November 2024, 11 protestors were arrested at the University of Leicester after an occupation of Attenborough Tower.

This act of protest followed months of the University's refusal to meaningfully engage with students demands and cut ties with the zionist entity.

On Friday the 31st of October, nearly a year later, 10 of the protestors were found guilty of aggravated trespass and have been criminalised by the university and the state.

This is a continuation of the increased state repression against those who are taking action for Palestine, but we cannot be discouraged.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been murdered since the "ceasefire" and it is clear "israel" has no intention of ending its settler colonial regime.

We will challenge this unjust verdict and keep pushing our institutions to cut its ties with the genocidal ethnostate.

If you want to learn more about what more we can do, keep an eye out for upcoming events or get in touch.

We all must be willing to make these small sacrifices in solidarity with the Palestinian people until the zionism ultimately dead and buried.

Long live the Intifada🔻
