Townlands C of E Primary Academy

5LC have been working hard in history to create non-chronological reports about the Tudors. They have researched, drafted, edited and written up before decorating their double page spreads.

5LC have been inspired by Friedensreich Hundertwasser to create their own abstract building designs. Using bright, colourful oil pastels, they explored bold patterns, curved lines, and imaginative shapes. We are so proud of their creativity and the vibrant artwork they produced!

Year 3 had a fabulous day at Bosworth Battlefield, enjoying our Roman day theme.

5LC and 5/6SL worked together (with the help of our very talented Mrs Geary) to create a special birthday greeting for Sir David Attenborough. The children all created a leaf and animal face to be combined into a 100! This special birthday message has been sent to Sir David Attenborough - we are sure he will love it!

As part of our learning about climate and pollution, 5LC wrote letters to our local MP about local issues around pollution, recycling and litter. We were delighted today to receive a personal response from him.

Year 1 presented 'Seasons and the Monarchy' assembly. Well done, you all did a great performance. 🥰🤩
