π€© WOW, WOW, WOW! π€©
We honestly don't know where to begin... the support shown for our Fresh Face of Frisby project has been nothing short of incredible! π
Over the summer holidays, Frisby CE Primary School was filled with an amazing sense of community as parents, carers, local residents, Rise colleagues, school staff, volunteers and the fantastic team from Allison Homes came together with one shared goal β to create something truly special for our children.
From painting fences, weeding flower beds and jet washing pathways to completely transforming our overgrown pond area into a beautiful outdoor learning space, every helping hand, every donated resource and every hour of volunteered time has made a lasting difference.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave their time, donated materials, shared equipment or simply got stuck in. Your generosity, kindness and community spirit have helped create an environment that our pupils will be proud of for years to come.
We can't wait to welcome our children back and watch them discover the wonders of the natural world through Forest School, outdoor learning and environmental education. πΏπ They'll have the opportunity to explore local wildlife, develop a love of nature, learn about biodiversity and sustainability, and create memories that simply can't be made inside a classroom.
And this is just the beginning! We're excited to continue developing our outdoor spaces with plans for an Eco Team, gardening projects, growing fresh produce and even introducing a beehive so our pupils can learn about the vital role bees play in our environmentβand one day enjoy their very own Frisby Honey! ππ―
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who has supported this project. Together, you've shown the true power of community, and we couldn't be more grateful.
Interested in making a difference in your local community? If you or your organisation would like to support one of our Rise schools through volunteering, donated resources or community partnerships, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
