Year 2 have been super mathematicians this week 👏

Today the Mini Vinnies visited Amberwood Care Home. We delivered easter baskets and cards and had a chat to the residents. Some of the residents were wearing easter bunny ears just like us! The Mini Vinnies group reflected on our experience and said 'I enjoyed seeing the elderly people and how happy there were that we took easter baskets for them.' Another student said ' I liked that we were giving instead of receiving'. A wonderful experience for both the care home residents and our Mini Vinnies.

The children from Holy Cross had a great day celebrating our STACMAT feast day.

Some members of our choir visited a local care home today. They shared some carols and Christmas 🎄 joy.

Year 1 and Year 2 performed their Nativity to the school. They did a wonderful job!

Today we had some visitors from Leicester Active Catholic Youth come to our school to make some figures for the nativity. This Nativity will be displayed at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in their chapel. The children from the Chaplaincy Team did an amazing job of making Joseph , a shepherd and a wise man.

We had many generous donations from our school community for our Reverse Advent Calendar outreach. We were able to make 50 bags filled with essentials, treats and a Christmas card to donate to the charity One Roof, Leicester.
