Congratulations to Product Design student Harry Wragg, who is a finalist in the prestigious Design Innovation in Plastics Awards.
Harry has designed a potentially life-saving device that helps people use the correct amount of force when administering CPR by audibly clicking. If the device does not click during the compression, then the user needs to apply more force.

Last month, DMU teamed up with Leicester Tigers to create an unforgettable pre-match experience when the Tigers played Northampton Saints.
The university is proud to share a unique partnership with the club which brings benefits to students and staff. And last month, we welcomed fans to the Mattioli Woods Welford Road stadium in style, with stalls, games and cheerleading performances.
From engaging young fans to hands-on volunteering, our students and staff proudly showcased DMU’s dynamic community spirit.
A great opportunity for the DMU community to volunteer, connect, and learn while making lasting memories with young rugby fans.
And to top it off, the Tigers won, beating the Saints 54-33 👏

At Engineering TheFuture, we heard from both industry leaders and DMU graduates:
🔹Industry leaders from JLR, GE Power Conversion, The Catapult, and more shared their expertise, offering invaluable advice on the skills and mindset needed to thrive in engineering.
🔹DMU students and alumni showcased their journeys from university to top engineering roles, proving that with the right opportunities and determination, success is within reach.
