EYFS and Year 1 managed to miss the rain at their forest school session today! Making tents, mini beasts, digging HUGE muddy holes, nature pictures and animal homes were all taking place in today’s learning.
Thank you as always to our volunteers from our village community who help us each week and to the Church for letting us use their grounds for our sessions.
Rise Multi Academy Trust
A very special visitor arrived this week in the form of a horse! As part of Class 4’s animal writing project, the children have been learning from real-life animal encounters. So far, they have met a cat, two dogs and now a horse. We are very grateful to Miss Smith for bringing her horse into school, giving every year group the opportunity to meet and pet him. It was a fantastic experience for the children and a wonderful way to bring learning to life.

Last week, a group of our Year 5 pupils met with children from across the trust to take part in the Great Pupil Charter debate. We were incredibly proud of Xiylah, Grace and Jeeya, who represented us. They were excellent ambassadors for our school.

🚲 Are you handy with Bikes? 🚲
Can you help us?
We have 4 Balance Bikes that were in our school shed when we flooded and they were in some water. We are looking for someone who is good with bikes who may be willing to donate a little of their time to give our bikes a check over and make sure they are working properly and are safe for our children to use.
