Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you so much to everyone who attended our fundraising afternoon for Uganda yesterday! A few weeks ago, Class 4 were tasked with the ‘Make £5 Grow’ challenge and the whole class was given just one £5 note. The children wanted to raise money for our link school in Uganda after they heard about their challenges during the Ebola crisis. The children took it upon themselves to use their skills and talents, research good business strategies and they even wrote to Tesco who donated many of the resources for their ideas as well as use the football kits donated by Leicester City Women’s Team. From shirt printing to drink and cake making to hair, nails, face paints, key chains, martial arts classes and more, Class 4 put on a simply outstanding community fundraising event. Yesterday, they raised £742.69 for Bright Beginners Preparatory School, Uganda! What an enormous difference it will make for them!!
