Yesterday our babies in the Nest celebrated World Meditation Day with pyjamas, calming time and tiny little foot spas (totes adorbs!)

Because even babies need a minute sometimes… life is hard.

But in all seriousness, taking time to slow down, relax and regulate emotions is so important for little minds. Creating calm moments throughout the day can help babies feel safe, settled and supported - plus who doesn’t love a spa day? 😌

Mental Health Awareness Week at Charnwood Nursery & Preschool Rothley 💚
Last week our Mini Explorers enjoyed the ultimate relaxation day
(next ones for you parents!)

From soothing foot spas and calming baby massage to teddy bear breathing yoga and lavender scented playdough, our little ones explored ways to relax, regulate emotions and practice self-care.

Helping children understand mindfulness, wellbeing and big feelings from an early age is so important and this is how we start it.

Just a bunch of tiny besties living their best lives in the ball pit 🫶🏼🥹✨

Nothing beats baby smiles and watching them explore with so much confidence.
Ball pit play is amazing for building coordination, balance, sensory development and those all-important social skills too, even if to them it just feels like fun.

It was such a lovely evening spent celebrating all the hard work, dedication and care that goes into making Charnwood Nursery & Preschool such a special place for our children and families every day.

A huge thank you to our incredible team for everything they do, we’re so proud of how far Rothley has come over the last 5 years, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! 🥂

And we’ve finished in style… today with our party extravaganza!!

Started the day properly with bacon rolls for the team (because we look after our people… morning wellbeing on point)

Then it was straight into it…

A bouncy castle (because obviously? its a party!) 🏰

AND… a visit from the one, the only… Bluey 💙

(We're not saying who was more excited, the children or the staff…)

And the truth is, we can’t quite believe it’s been 5 years since we first opened the doors.
To all of our parents (past and present) - thank you.
For trusting us, for being part of it, for growing with us.
5 years of countless friendships, countless memories, and countless little moments we’ll never forget.
We really wouldn’t be here without you 💚
