Exploring Doffeerent Textures 🇬🇧

The children used their fine motor skills to explore the different textures of materials. They had pasta, rice and flour in all different colours.

We talked about what colours they could see and what it felt like?

Union Flag - Sensory Play 🇬🇧

Our Baby Room have been exploring the Union Flag and the different textures used to creat the flag!

They babies used their fine motor skills and senses to explore the flour, paint and tissue paper.

We encourage the children to experience different textures and materials!

Crown Printing 👑

Our Toddler Room are using different materials to decorate a large crown! They are using their their fine motor skills to print the colours onto the crown.

We encouraged lots of words such as ‘Red’, ‘Blue’, White’, ‘Crown’, ‘Queen’ and ‘Look’.

Making Crowns 👑

Our Pre School children have been making their own crowns for them to wear during our day for the Queen Jubilee Queen!

They did a parade around the nursery wearing their crowns!

Wiggly Worms 🪱

The children have been using their pincer grips with the tweezers and fine motor skills to find the wiggly worms out of the mud!

Some children used the magnifying glasses 🔍 to explore the environment and see what they could see!

Splish! Splash! Splosh! 💦

Our babies and toddlers have enjoyed exploring the water play! They have been using cups, jugs and funnels to tip and pour the water out. They have also been using scoops to try and rescue the shells!

Our Local Park 🛝

We went to our local park this morning, the children played on the slides, climbing frames and round about!

Abbey Park 🍃

We took the children to Abbey Park! We saw the animals, went to the park and had a picnic 🧺

We had a trip to Castle Gardens and one of the children spotted a ladybird!

Super Star Sport ⚽️

Our pre School and Toddler Children had a special visit from ‘Coach Lauren’ this morning.

We spent time outside playing football ⚽️

We’re going on a Bear Hunt 🐻

One of our students set up an activity for the pre school children based on our Book of the Week!

They went on an adventure through the grass, river (water), mud (soil), forest, snowstorm (flour) and into the cave!

Our Baby Room have been exploring the water today! We sang lots of different nursery rhymes whilst the children were playing in it.
