As we say goodbye to an incredible 2025/26 academic year, what better way to celebrate than with a spectacular Colour Run! 🌈🎉

What a fantastic afternoon filled with laughter, teamwork, and a rainbow of fun! A huge well done to our amazing LHS students—you brought endless energy, enthusiasm, and smiles, making it the perfect way to finish the school year.

Thank you to our wonderful staff, families, and everyone who helped make today so special. Wishing all our students a safe, happy, and well-deserved summer break. We can't wait to see you all again for another fantastic year!

Sports Day isn't just about winning—it's about courage, perseverance, teamwork, and giving your very best. Today our students showed all of that and more. We couldn't be prouder of every single one of you. Here's to making memories that will last a lifetime! 🏆🎉

We were delighted to welcome renowned artist Ian Murphy to LHS yesterday, where he led a full-day workshop with our Year 9 Art students. Ian shared insights into his work and the inspirations behind his creative practice before introducing students to new mixed-media techniques. Working on the theme of natural forms, the students produced their own impressive artworks, with some truly fantastic pieces created throughout the day 🎨

Day 5 - To conclude Opportunities Week, our Year 9 students enjoyed a well-deserved reward trip to Alton Towers, where they spent the day experiencing the rides, making memories, and celebrating all they had achieved throughout the week.

Miss Frodsham is incredibly proud of every one of our Year 9 students for the enthusiasm, resilience, and positive attitude they have shown. They embraced every challenge, pushed themselves out of their comfort zones, and represented the school brilliantly.

With just one week to go until the end of term, we can’t wait to finish on a high and celebrate even more successes together! 🫶🙌💪

Day Four of Opportunities Week 😇

Our students took part in a Personal Development Day, participating in a range of engaging workshops delivered by external agencies, including LOUDMOUTH, Road Safety, Relationships and S*x Education, and Careers Options 💪👄
Students engaged brilliantly throughout the day, demonstrating excellent participation and working positively with all of the visiting professionals.
