Here at Little People Farfield, we’ve had a special visitor today… The Easter Bunny!! He was very impressed by all the amazing Easter Bonnet creations!!

For the last of this year’s Little People Pride Awards we would like to say congratulations to our Farfield Funclub Room Leader, Joanne S. Joanne first came to work with us as school girl, helping out afterschool, later joining our apprenticeship scheme, and now in our leadership team in our Out-Of-School provision at Farsley Farfield, and helping in the Nursery too.

🥰 We’ve seen Joanne grow from being a young girl, to a mother, experienced childcare practitioner and all-round wonderful person. We’re delighted her enthusiasm and commitment has been recognised with a Pride Award. This is her 3rd time winning as she picked up the award in 2021 and 2022.

🥰 Many of the votes for Joanne have come from the children themselves, in addition to colleagues and we’re so pleased to have her on our team.

Congratulations to our wonderful Ellie S who’s enthusiasm and happy nature sprinkles sunshine at our Farsley Farfield site. Ellie is a 2nd time winner, winning back in 2023 and she’s a firm favourite with parents, staff and children alike.

Congratulations to the superb Jodie. Jodie has incredibly won a Pride Award for 4 years in a row! Which should give testament to this lovely lady’s attitude, determination and kind heart. Having initially started as a student over 8 years ago she’s now a part of the Leadership team at our Bramley Nursery, and acts as a mentor to apprentices and newly qualified team members. Our parents and staff team really appreciate her knowledge, patience and support.

Carrie has put lots of effort into helping her to settle and getting to know her. We love the updates we get on Tapestry and the verbal updates from Carrie are great too. My daughter can be so excited when she arrives at nursery that she forgets to say goodbye to us.”

Congratulations to our terrific Teigan, as newer recruit to our Farsley Farfield team in 2023, Teigan joins us as an apprentice and has already made a huge impact, we’re thrilled for her!

Congratulations to our wonderful Kayleigh, Kayleigh first joined us on her student placements and quickly found a home here to complete her qualifications and thrive. After winning the award at Stanningley in 2022, this is her first win at the Bramley setting and we are very proud of her.

After a moving into a new age range her colleagues have been super impressed with her commitment and enthusiasm, making her a joy to work with!

Congratulations to our super Sophie! Sophie started with us as apprentice at Alwoodley back in 2016 and has been a firm favourite with parents and staff alike, this is her 2nd time win, receiving a Pride Award in 2023. She was thrilled to receive an award again this year.

Congratulations to our amazing Ellie C, who is winning an award for the 2nd time. Ellie initially joined us as an apprentice at our Farsley Farfield site almost 7 years ago, with a short break after qualifying to develop her experience elsewhere, she is now a firm favourite in the leadership team, and her skills and commitment shines.

Congratulations to our lovely Steph, Steph has been with us for almost 5 years, initially starting at our Stanningley site before joining the team at Bramley.

🏆This is a first time win for Steph, who’s kindness and quiet nature is a huge hit with staff, parents and children and we’re delighted to see this recognised in her votes.

🥰 Working in our Baby room, Steph fosters a special bond with her children, and their parents are very grateful for her considerate and confident nature, making them feel at ease leaving their little person with her.

“Steph is our son's key worker and to say she is amazing would be an understatement. Our son has settled so well with her. She knows him incredibly well and we know his development is a top priority for her. Our son is our miracle baby and handing him over was extremely hard but knowing he is with Steph makes it so much easier”

Today we are celebrating the wonderful Aaron at Alwoodley. It’s a hat trick for this wonderful lady, who has previously been awarded a Pride Award in 2022 and 2023. After a brief time away from us for relocation, Aaron is back with a bang having recently secured promotion and we couldn’t be happier.
