We are half-way through fieldwork with almost all schools across Yorkshire & Humber and the Northeast recruited as a partner on our project!🏫
We had a wonderful time at St Malachy's Primary School in Halifax this week and were proud to present them with their partnership certificate. What a wonderful atmosphere the school has created for their pupils 💫

Growing Well Study - Merrion Centre
The Growing Well Team from the University of Leeds are welcoming families to a pop-up research hub at the Merrion Centre as part of a national study exploring young children’s growth, dental health and diet.

⭐HUGE⭐ thank you to the wonderful staff and pupils at West Denton Primary in Newcastle for welcoming the research team into school last week.
We loved meeting the children and hearing about what they like eating at school and at home! 🍎🍕🥦🥞
As our second pilot school they have really helped us get ready for beginning the main research phase after half term. If you are a Primary school in the North east or Yorkshire and Humberside look out for an invitation to partner with us!

🍎Our project is officially underway!
We had a wonderful time at South Parade Primary School in Ossett last week, where we carried out the very first pilot study for our evaluation of the Free School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme.
A huge thank you to the fantastic school team, their brilliant pupils, and their families. We couldn’t have done it without your support!⭐Your feedback has been incredibly valuable in helping us fine‑tune our plans as we move into the main phase of the project.
