Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. After 20 years working as a teacher in mainstream education, I decided it was time to focus solely on what I love about teaching, and that is the interaction with students, teaching topics and texts that I am passionate about, and playing a part in maximizing the life chances of young people.
The student reviews that are already on this page make me incredibly proud to be a teacher, and it is an absolute privilege to help students improve, and see their love for a subject grow.
The benefits of private tuition are well documented, and significant:
1:1 or small group tuition has been shown to improve progress by 5 months on average, and by as much as 3 grades.
Sessions are tailored to the specific needs of the individual student, rather than trying to address the needs of up to 30 students at the same time!
Sessions can be linked to curriculum content, and I have experience of AQA, Edexcel, Wjec, Eduqas and OCR exam specifications, as well as the IGCSE.
