The Undergraduate Anaesthetics Society (UGAS) is the first society at Leeds Medical School to promote anaesthetics and its sub-specialities. We have several great events planned for this year, including:
• Lectures on career progression
• Cannulation and intubation workshops
• OSCE revision

The Association of Anaesthetists Trainee Conference 2023 is due to be held in Leeds! As well as talks from a variety of speakers, there will be an opportunity for medical students to submit abstracts for poster and oral presentations.

Trainee Conference 2023 | Association of Anaesthetists Trainee anaesthetists are invited to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation at the Trainee Conference 2023. All abstracts accepted to the conference will be published in a special online supplement of Anaesthesia.
For anyone who missed the feedback link for the 4th year prioritisation revision session, the link is still in the meeting chat. Slides will be sent out tomorrow.

Posters focussing on anaesthetics, critical care, pain, pre-hospital medicine are all welcome. Email [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.
Options are:
- poster presentation (answer 1-2 questions on your submitted poster)
- 10 minute oral presentation (by application in the below google form)
We are keen to create a supportive learning environment for all students interested in participating and we are interested to see what projects you have been getting involved in. Feedback last year on the poster presentations and judging was very positive from both the conference delegates and the judges.
