💛Phonics with Robot Reg are fun, high energy classes which teach early phonics skills to children aged between 2 - 4.

Our classes teach:
✅sound production
✅sound recognition
✅alliteration
✅oral blending/segmenting
✅letter recognition

...as well as activities to improve gross and fine motor skills ready for writing. ALL this is done through p-l-ay 🥳.

Don't forget...no classes this week (w/b 1st June) as I'm taking an extra week off to pack my kitchen up ready for the builders.

⭐What is phonics I hear you ask 🤔...phonics is a method of teaching children how to read by learning sounds and their corresponding letter shapes.

⭐Our classes are full of games, music and movement, actions songs, bubbles and role play. Lively and engaging, fun and educational...littlies love it!

⭐Play based activities cleverly teach:

• Environmental sounds.

• Instrumental sounds.

• Body percussion (e.g. clapping and stamping)

• Rhythm and rhyme.

• Alliteration.

• Voice sounds.

Tomorrow is an exciting day as many parents find out which school their little one will be going to 😘.

Here are the 7 areas of learning your child's teacher will be tracking their progress against. Think lots of social, emotional and speech development, maths and literacy through play, creativity and being curious about the world around us/our environment 😀.

As a mum and former reception teacher, 2 things...have your littlies practise putting their jumper/coat on and off and make sure they can use the facilities (mostly) independently. Those 2, in my opinion, come first and foremost above everything else (in the first half term anyway) 🙌.
