Home Education Science with Michelle - Booking by Bookwhen Join us for a fun, inclusive hands-on science club designed for children aged 5 and up, pitched from early years through to KS3 level. Sessions are led by Michelle Adams, an experienced science teacher with 20 years of teaching experience across KS2, KS3, and KS4.

Pool carousel - low cost family entertainment.

Myself and my friend organise this. Not for profit. Voluntary.

Pool carousel has been running for 3 years now over in Pool in wharfedale. Every two months we organise and invite a special guest to come and entertain the attendees.
We subsidse the cost with fundraising or donations. We have had mini zoos, pottery painting, clay classes, soap making, mad hatters tea parties, trips to stumpcross Caverns, The Yorkshire fossil hunter and many more.
The price for children has never been more that £5.

Thursday evening, 18th, our summer Science Café looks out into the universe, down into our streams and explores evolution in a very surprising way. Three expert speakers, time for Q&A after every session and refreshing drinks available from the bar.

As usual, tickets for the Café are £6, but free for students in full time education (though a ticket is still required)
