The Leeds Menorah School was founded over 45 years ago following a directive of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to Dayan Yehuda Refson z”l and his wife Ettie Refson tlcht”a.
The school offers a strong education, both in kodesh and secular studies, with a proud Jewish Torah ethos with special attention for each pupil helping him/her succeed to the best of his/her abilities.
The school has invested large amounts into its curriculum and thanks to Mr Bell's unique approach, the kodesh and secular syllabuses are interwoven.
This year we are looking forward to being able to offer these curriculums worldwide and share the special Menorah School education for all to benefit.
The school opened a full day nursery last year and we are now looking to expand even further.
This will help hopefully attract more young observant families to Leeds.
Thanks to generous people in our community, who know how vital the school is for the future of the community, all the donations during the campaign are matched. We are aiming to raise £25,000 which will result in £50,000.
This is a campaign for the whole community - The Leeds Menorah School is vital for the future of the entire Leeds Jewish Community.
