Brilliant to see reporting on being granted temporary planning permission to enhance the experience at their Slung Low at Temple site for our local community and the wider city.

At ‘Slung Low at Temple’ they plan on the space including a number of temporary arts, culture and educational installations. So please watch this space to make sure you don’t miss out on what the award-winning theatre company has planned for 2024.

The Globe Point community have certainly got into the festive spirit over the last couple of weeks in Temple Leeds. Globe Point tenants have been taking part in Christmas themed events such as a gingerbread house making workshop, a mince pies and mulled wine afternoon and a Christmas themed pub quiz for over 70 people; among other festive activities curated by CEG:

Additionally, this year we have been delighted to support the amazing cause of the ‘LGI Amazon Wishlist Present Donations’. Thanks to the generous contributions from our community, we are proud to have donated 130 presents, totalling a value of £1500. Helen Stella McDonald, Fundraising and Engagement Officer from commented: “Donated gifts not only bring a wave of festive cheer to children in Leeds Children’s Hospital over Christmas, but so much more. They are not just toys or games; they’re a message of care and support from everyone who has donated, offering children and families a pure moment of happiness and normality during their stay.”
