First week at Geeks Room has been a blast!

We’ve been chatting about sensory overload, what it feels like and things we can do to help when it gets a bit much. Lots of conversations, speaking about different techniques and supporting each other through it.

A really positive start with plenty of laughs along the way. Looking forward to next week already!

Week 2 has been full of creativity and hands-on learning.

We have been designing bandanas, building in Minecraft, getting stuck into technical making, experimenting with photo editing, and even putting our designs on LEGO figures!

A great mix of making, learning, and working together throughout the week.😁

We’ve been exploring circuits, breaking out of Minecraft escape rooms 🧩, doing some photo editing, and even designing our own bandannas 🎨, and so much more!

We were honoured to welcome the Madam Mayor of Rotherham to Geeks Room South Yorkshire this week. It was a pleasure showing her around our new site, sharing our vision, and talking about how we’re working to support and empower the communities we serve through inclusion, creativity, and education.
