12 months on from it's inception, 'Picture House Sessions' will be released on Friday the 27th of April 2018! 🎶💿

'Picture House Sessions' is the first EP released by Leeds Student Radio, which is being released in association with Come Play With Me.

The release showcases the wide and vibrant talent of 4 Leeds-based artists: Laminate Pet Animal, Kumiko, Jabbawoki and The Seagulls! The entire project was recorded in one day in front at The Hyde Park Picture House.

The EP release will be accompanied by video content of each artist’s performance on the day, released through LSR's Sound Sessions

To celebrate this release, LSR and CPWM will be hosting a launch event for the EP at Hyde Park Book Clubon Sunday the 29th of April (event below).

An exciting opportunity with Come Play With Me, who are producing 'Picture House Sessions' with us! You have until Friday 00.00 🎶

This is our first call-out which is exclusively open to women/trans/non-binary music creators (i.e. solo artists, composers or groups where the lead music creator is a woman/trans/non-binary.) We are looking to help to rebalance the gender gap in the music industry locally.

🎤We are very excited to announce that tomorrow we will be having our 2nd official Leeds Student Radio Sound Session of the academic year! 🎤

🎸Tomorrow we will be showcasing and working with the amazing Thomas Harvey & Francesca Pidgeon - Musician (from the fabulous Kumiko, who will be working with at the beginning of 2018)! 🎹
