Miss Almond and Miss Davies took pupils to the Rhinos match last Thursday evening, as a reward for completing their intervention programme. The students got to help with the event and got to go on the pitch which was incredibly exciting for our young people.

What a day... Student LEAdership Graduation

Words fail to describe the pride, joy and excitement in the hall last Thursday, as 42 mortarboard-clad pupils bravely walked across a stage, conducting a classic 'diploma shake' and receiving their scroll- certification of their successful completion of the Student LEAdership Training Programme. Each pupil also popped a balloon on stage, showering them with coloured confetti that indicated the remit of leadership they will be working with: red (Behaviour with Mr Glover), green (Personal Development with Ms Simons), blue (Student Experience with Miss Capstick) and yellow (QofE with Miss Moss). The pupils can now be seen wearing hoodies and black polo shirts with these colour accents within their logos. The event saw a stunning performance from LEA Empresses, powerful speeches and lots of proud parents taking photos of their beaming children.
