We’re looking for Community Council Members to join our Academy Community Councils.

Academy Community Councils are the local committees that help our academies provide the best opportunities for children and young people.
You don’t need to work in education or have governance experience.

We’re looking for people who care about their community, want young people to succeed and are happy to bring their own perspective to the table.

To all our Year 11 parents, carers, and students—the wait is nearly over! We are so excited to celebrate all of your hard work and achievements.

Here is everything you need to know about Thursday 20th August 2026:

Time: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Location: The School Library

Access: Please enter and leave the Academy via the library gate.

Many of our teachers and staff will be there to celebrate with you! 🥳

Please take note of the upcoming changes to the school day starting this September. We have different schedules for Mondays compared to the rest of the week (Tuesday to Friday).

Below is the breakdown of the new timings to help you prepare:

🗓️ Monday Schedule
09:00 - 09:05 | Gate opens & transition to Tutor

09:05 - 10:40 | PSHE

10:40 - 11:00 | Break

11:00 - 11:55 | Period 3

11:55 - 12:50 | Period 4

12:50 - 13:25 | Lunch

13:25 - 14:20 | Period 5

14:20 - 15:15 | Period 6

🗓️ Tuesday - Friday Schedule
08:15 - 08:25 | Gate opens & transition to Tutor (Note the earlier start!)

We would like to say a big well done to the 14 Year 10 students who attended the Advance Maths Support Programme Day on 6th July 2026 at Bradford University!

It was an excellent day where students had face to face teaching for expert mathematicians exploring key GCSE topics coming up in Year 11.

Out of the four teams participating in the afternoon Maths Feast, one achieved first place and another third which is an excellent achievement!

They enjoyed the university tour and got a feel of university life and they were able to ask the university ambassadors about potential pathways to university.

Thank you also to Mr. Blair, Ms. Walker, Mr. Jackson and Mrs. Pitan for facilitating the day! Excellence at its best!
