Bright stars

Can I remind all parents that it is YOUR responsibility to inform me of any changes in your child’s attendance
If they are not attending for any reason YOU MUST let me know
If they are attending an after school activity provided by school, YOU MUST let me know

Too many times we are expecting children who do not turn up and too many times , we are waiting to collect children from school who are either not at school or they are attending a club.
It is not acceptable for myself or Abi to be chasing up where children are.
We have a lot of children to collect each evening and waiting for children who are not there makes us late for collecting other children or children and ourselves being out in the cold and rain longer than necessary.

Unfortunately due to the conditions on the roads around school and on school site I have made the decision that we will not open this morning but will open as normal this afternoon, but again I ask again that children are not left until the last minute

It has been brought to my attention that a school newsletter went out last week , in it it says that Bright stars opens at 7am , this is not the case we open at 7-45 am and I have no plans to open any earlier

Tomorrow is schools Christmas fair, can you please let me know if you intend on picking your child up from school to attend the fair , it is your responsibility to let me know so I do not waste time looking for children who have been collected already .

The back garden at the hive has had a fantastic makeover during the summer holidays , I can’t wait for the children to see it

Can I ask that those of you who haven’t already been in touch let me know of your needs for next week, as I do not want to be looking/ waiting for children if they are not starting on their booked days .

We look forward to welcoming you all back we will also be welcoming some new children over the coming weeks as they start their new adventures.

I have sent emails out today to some parents regarding fees , can you please check if you have received anything also check your junk/spam folders , nothing has shown in my sent box .

If you haven’t already emailed your requirements for this year could you please email them to me ASAP please , also for any of my reception children can parents double check their actual start dates and let me know your start date for school club , as reception clas do staggered starts .

We have had lots of fun , we released 5 butterflies, baked , painted , played games , dressed up been to the park and today we had a very special visitor , Ronnie rhino came to say hello
