Food, Glorious Food! 🍱 😋😊

Following on from our Learning! 🌱

Our Onions, Carrots, Spinach and Coriander are growing nicely 🌿 👏🏼 The children are so proud of how well they’ve grown from the little tiny seeds they planted 🪴 ❤️

The Mix of sunshine and rain have been in our favour! ☔️ ☀️ 🤭

Our spinach is ready to pick and eat! 😋 we’ve picked huge bags of it and washed it… after talking to the children about what they have grown themselves… they were happy to taste test ✅ 😆 we may be able to add these fresh foods to our meals now and be confident to try them and enjoy them ♥️

We spotted so many different flowers on our walks so this week we have focused their learning around these interests to build on further development 😊

Imagine watching older children help and encourage younger ones to climb trees, skip over stones, teaching them physical skills❤️
Imagine learning how to keep yourself safe by being allowed to experience risk and test your skills❤️
Imagine being the adult that gets to give them this ❤️
Eternally grateful for what we can give these small humans ❤️
No classroom, no school, no government that state children should be born, put in a uniform and confined to four walls will ever, EVER match this!

The children loved creating our earth and different planets using balloon painting prints for Earth day & exploring nature! 🌱 🌍

April Holidays☀️

We’ve been sooo busy having lots of fun outdoors and visiting amazing Nature places 🌳

We’ve had the best time! … & loved our Nature Trail🚶🦋🐝🦆😀

The children helped one another spot many different wildlife as we ticked off everything we heard and could see 👀

From butterflies, bees and ladybugs to frogs, birds and ducks 🦅🦢♥️

We even discussed the water, trees, flowers and collected sticks to make a mini bug house 🏠 🪵

The little ones were so curious as we explored the nature reserve… 🌳 🏞️

Learning does not have to mean sitting at a desk doing paper activities. Real learning in the Early Years happens through movement, experiences & indoor and outdoor play! We love that children are so happy when outdoors in nature…. Socialising with their friends and using lots of language 😀 There’s nothing more important than supporting health, wellbeing and happiness first ❤️
