****** Vacancy in September 2023 *******

Dilly-Dally Childcare has availability for a child aged two years on a Monday , Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from September.

I am registered for 2 and 3/4 year old funding, both 15 and 30 hours of childcare. I am also registered for tax free childcare, other various voucher schemes and can provide detailed invoices for Universal Credits.

My hourly rate of £4.00 includes all meals ( hot and cold ) outings and parties. Places we have visited are the seaside, cinema, trampoline centres, museums, parks, play centres and other locations of interest.

My working hours are 7.00a.m - 6.30p.m.

I am located on the outskirts of the city centre, in LS12 which is a 10 minute commute away and only a two minute drive onto the ring road, both of which are ideal for those parents who work in Leeds.

I also live on the same housing estate as Five Lanes Primary school which is perfect for those little ones who will eventually progress onto full time education.

Please do message for further information.

Hide and Seek must be the oldest and most popular game for children of all ages. It’s certainly loved by all the Dilly-Dally Childcare children wherever we may be.

More water play !!

The boys thought it would be a good idea to do press ups in the 30 degree heat of the sun and then use the water shooters to spray water under the parasol, therefore creating a shower of water on to them ( to cool down ) 😂

The same little geniuses created their very own water run using planks, cones, water, balls and basically anything else they could find in the garden. 🤩

Outdoor challenges at Grasshoppers. This has to be both mine and the children’s most favourite local play centre.

This week we visited Horsforth PYO strawberry picking farm.

The children were very excited to have had two of their very own tractor rides past fields and fields of strawberries, and raspberries !!!

We decided to travel a little further past the strawberries growing on the ground which were very small, to then arrive at where the biggest and ripest strawberries were growing higher up on raised beds.

On our way we passed a large mound of what looked like horse manure.

A very observant four year old pointed out the cultivating mound of goodness and said, ‘Look Julie there must be alot of elephants around here !!’ 😂

Unfortunately we didn’t see the elephants but taste testing all those sweet ripened strawberries they picked, made up for his disappointment. 🤤😍

A few more of the photo’s from our Jubilee themed activities a couple of weeks ago…….

A Jubilee party.

Sensory play with red, white and blue scarfs.

Red white and blue sensory play dough activity using textured rolling pins, my own hand made stamps and handmade queens cardboard template.

Scissor skills using natural resources to create a collage.

Red, white and blue loose parts to create patterns and sequencing.

A crown collage using loose red, white and blue beads supplied by one of my lovely parents who had a jar full of them cut up from old necklaces.

We also read a few royal themed books, one of which condensed the life story of ‘Queen Elizabeth’ into just a few pages for the children to enjoy.
