New week, new month and new half year!
What does it mean for you?

I don’t know about you but after setting my goals at the start of the year and then making good progress working towards them, the last few months have really made me reflect and reassess what is important to me and what I want to achieve by the end of the year...

Are you up for a challenge or do you prefer an easy life?
Do you find yourself opting for the path of least resistance even though it might feel like the wrong path?
It’s so easy to tell ourselves we can’t...
It’s much easier to start tomorrow, to listen to our excuses or to think it’s not worth it, we’re not worth it...
But is that right?
To be a self critic instead of a cheerleader?
To clap for others instead of ourselves?
To know what we need, what we want and what we should or could do but to then not do it?
Yes, it might feel uncomfortable, you might feel resistance and it will be hard, but doing something difficult doesn’t make it wrong...
Sometimes the hardest decisions turn out to be the best ones.
But if you never try...
If you don’t lean into that discomfort and take that first step on that new path how will you ever know?
Is it time that you got more comfortable with being uncomfortable?

What’s your Plan B?
My view... if you’ve got a Plan B chances are Plan A will be tougher, longer and way more painful to achieve than you anticipate.
The reason behind this? Subconscious programming…
Your subconscious is programmed to keep you safe, cosy and protected in your comfort zone.
So, with that scenario in mind, why would your subconscious let you put yourself out there and risk rejection, failure and judgment?
Isn’t it far better to avoid it by keeping you in your cosy, safe, comfort zone?
And so…
If you’ve got a Plan B, well then there’s actually no REAL reason to pursue Plan A... why would you when you always have that back up plan waiting in reserve 🤔
So what’s the answer?
Well, if you really want to succeed, if you want to grow or for things to be different from how they are right now...
You need to ditch your Plan B
Truth 💣
Get rid of your back up plan and ditch any excuse to avoid taking the action you want.
Don’t give your subconscious the opportunity to distract you, to procrastinate and to make achieving Plan A any more harder than it needs to be!
After all, there’s no joy in constant struggle and hustle.
