We are delighted to share a wonderful video featuring our year 4 student, Freya, one of the Osprey ambassadors at Rutland Water. In this engaging clip, Freya participates in nest building, bird watching, and surveying the majestic ospreys, Maya and 33(11). It beautifully illustrates how vital the younger generation is in the conservation of these incredible birds.
Freyaβs enthusiasm and dedication highlight the important role that young people play in protecting wildlife. The nest they constructed during this video will soon be erected, providing a potential home for another breeding pair of ospreys. This initiative not only fosters a deeper connection with nature but also empowers young individuals to take action for the environment. Together, we can inspire future generations to cherish and conserve our natural world.
The Osprey Leaders explain how Ospreys returned to Rutland Water, and how we help them by building nests.
