We hope all our families have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend. We look forward to welcoming returning children back on THURSDAY next week! (New children to Daycare and the Baby Room have 'Say Hello' sessions on Wednesday and Nursery School staff will be carrying out Home Visits for new children.

If your child is new to Nursery School please check your paperwork for the settling/start date we allocated you - our aim is to ensure not too many children start Nursery all at the same time so Keycarers can give new children the attention they need!)

We can't wait to see you all! 😊

We would like to thank our families for your patience as we closed today. We hope you and your children have managed to keep as cool as possible.

Having reviewed weather forecasts and checked the temperatures in our building, we have made the decision to open FOR THE MORNING ONLY tomorrow.

Please collect children at 12pm

Please note that, due to being unable to keep sleep rooms at the necessary safe temperature children WILL NOT be having a sleep tomorrow.

We understand that some families may make the decision not to send their children in at all tomorrow and we absolutely understand that you will make the best decision for your child.

We look forward to things returning to 'normal' on Monday!

Thank you for supporting us through an uncertain few days - please be assured that we take every decision with children's welfare in mind!

We are sorry to let families know that, despite best efforts to keep Nursery and our children as cool as possible, we have made the decision to close tomorrow, due to the extreme heat - we simply cannot keep the Nursery cool enough.

We expect to reopen on Friday as usual.

An email will be sent to all families, as we know not everyone uses social media.

We hope all our families manage to find ways to keep themselves and their children cool tomorrow!

To all families,

The weather is going to continue to be scorching throughout the week coming,
Please ensure-

✅Children are wearing suitable clothing and shoulders are covered 👕

✅Hats are provided and labelled 🧢

✅Your child is suncreamed thoroughly before coming in for their sessions 🧴

✅Plenty of spare labelled clothing is in your child’s bag- as lots of water play will be on offer 💧

If you have any concerns, please speak with your child’s key carer at drop off times.
