High level hydro seeding.

Images recieved this week from our Grizebeck Highway scheme in Cumbria.

Our client needed an erosion control for a shale/soil banking that was formed as part of the construction of the new highway bypass.

We are currently hydro seeding the embankment with a Terra Matrix mulch utilising both our Finn T60 hydro seeders to apply the Terra Matrix and seed hydro mulch.

We are currently recruiting for : Grounds Maintenance Foreman – Glasgow

Main duties will be programmed grounds maintenance activities but will also be required to carry out planting and other landscaping duties when necessary.



All applicants must be reliable and hardworking, and have experience in ground maintenance and soft landscaping works.
Applicant Requirements:


Essential:

A full UK driving license is essential. Minimum 1 year held.

Trailer licence and experience towing.
PA1 / PA6 spray certification.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a landscape supervisory role

Valid CSCS/LISS Card

Desirable:

SSSTS or SMSTS would be advantageous.

Hydro seeding.

Today we start our slope stabilisation hydro seeding applying Terra-Matrix Stabilized Mulch Matrix.

Terra-Matrix - Profile is a pre-blended hydroseeding material used for soil stabilization and erosion control.

It combines Thermally Refined wood fibers, cross-linked biopolymer tackifiers, and activators to anchor seeds and protect active construction sites from rainfall erosion. Our task at Grizebeck is to hydro seed a species rich seed mixture on shale and embankment cutting with limited soils.
