Wool & Willow is a small, nurturing, Waldorf-inspired creative provision for children in the early primary years.

Our sessions follow a gentle weekly rhythm of storytelling, handwork, bread making, painting, outdoor play and visits to see the animals.

It isn’t a formal academic group, but children naturally build confidence, language, coordination, independence, social skills and creativity through meaningful practical work, play and time together.

Sessions run:

Mondays 9:00–3:00
Tuesdays 12:30–3:00

The group is small and calm, with space for children to settle, make, play and belong.

We have a few spaces left for the Summer Term

Visits and enquiries are very welcome — feel free to message me if you’d like more information.

A lovely last week of term at Wool & Willow 🌿

We finished our sewing projects, enjoyed painting, created modelling inspired by our story, baked bread, and spent time with the animals.

A gentle, creative rhythm for children in the early primary years — with space to make, imagine, play and grow at their own pace.

We currently have a small number of spaces available for next term. If you’d like to come and visit or find out more, please get in touch 🌱

Today at Wool & Willow was full of colour, wonder and busy little hands. 🌿✨

We stitched with bright wool, painted flowing rainbows in our wet-on-wet watercolours, baked delicious bread creations, mixed muddy potions in the sunshine kitchen, discovered sleepy animals, and were lucky enough to watch Peewee the peacock in full display.

A day of creativity, nature, imagination and simple childhood magic. 💛

Spaces available for children aged 5–7. Message to enquire.

The sun was shining this afternoon at Wool & Willow 🌿

The children spent a long time deeply absorbed in the sandpit — building, shaping and working together in their play.

Alongside this we had some clay work, simple handcrafts and time spent with natural materials.

This kind of open-ended, imaginative play is such an important part of childhood.

We have a couple of spaces available in our small home-ed group (ages 5–7) in Lambley.

Feel free to message the Wool & Willow page if you’d like to know more.

A glimpse of our day at Wool & Willow 🌿

Today the children painted with flowing watercolours, shaped little clay animals, and baked bread to share together.

Simple work with the hands, imagination and natural materials — the kind of childhood many families are looking for.

A few spaces are available in our small home-education craft group in Lambley (ages 5–7).
