🐝🌻🦋 Wow! How busy have the Little Peas been lately? 🦋🌻🐝

We’ve been having so much fun exploring the wonderful world around us!

🐝 Learning all about bees and why they are so important
🌻 Discovering how sunflowers grow and what they need to thrive
🐛 Watching and learning about caterpillars and their amazing life cycle

Our little learners have also been busy bakers, creating tasty treats and developing their independence skills in the kitchen. 🍪👩‍🍳

We’ve enjoyed lots of exciting experiments too, making predictions, investigating, exploring and discovering new things together! 🔬✨

There has been plenty of painting, crafting, sensory play, counting, storytelling and outdoor adventures along the way. I love seeing the children’s curiosity, creativity and confidence blossom every day. 💛

What a fantastic few weeks of learning, laughter and fun we’ve had!

I can’t believe that my 4 Little Peas will be leaving for school in September! 🎒❤️ It only feels like yesterday they first walked through the door. Watching them grow into confident, kind and capable little people has been such a privilege, and while I’m incredibly proud of them, I know there will definitely be a few tears when it’s time to say goodbye.🫶🏼

We embraced all things 🫘 Jack and the Beanstalk 🫘 this week!

The little peas have been very busy:

🌱 Planting our magic beans
🧌 Making ‘giant’ cress men faces
🪡 Threading magical beanstalks
🎨 Painting and creating beanstalk pictures using paint and craft materials

Lots of magical learning, creativity and messy fun all week long! 💚

Ladybird, ladybird, fly away home! 🐞❤️

Over the last few weeks we have created some fantastic ladybirds using paints, clay and lots of creativity! 🎨

The little peas also enjoyed learning about 🐞 The Bad-Tempered Ladybird 🐞 and talking about feelings, emotions and why the ladybird may have felt grumpy at times.

Lots of fun, creativity and important conversations along the way! 💛

Spring is here! 🌸🌼

We’ve been making the most of the lovely weather and embracing all things nature in our setting 🌿

The children have been busy in our very own little greenhouse, helping to care for our plants—watering them, repotting them and making sure they get plenty of sunshine ☀️🪴
We’ve even planted our own apple seeds and can’t wait to watch them grow! 🍏

We’ve also started our exciting minibeast topic 🐞🐛
The children have loved:
• Exploring the soil with beetles and worms
• Making their own clay bugs
• Matching and comparing different sizes
• Learning about the habitats minibeasts live in

There’s also been lots of fun in the garden with bowls, ball games and even pretending to go on holiday! ☀️🏖️

We can’t wait to share more of our minibeast adventures with you soon! 🐛✨

So much exploring, discovering and learning through play—just the way it should be 💛

I know it’s late! 🫣🥴

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter! 🐣✨
We’ve had such a fun and busy time in the run-up to the holidays!

The children loved:
• Making yummy chocolate Easter nests 🍫😋
• Puffy painting fluffy chicks and bunnies in gorgeous pastel colours 🎨🐰
• Painting beautiful spring flowers 🌸🌼
• Creating special Easter cards 💌
• Getting stuck into lots of fun, creative activities

We also managed to get out and about in the village—how lucky are we to have such beautiful spots right on our doorstep! 🌿☀️

So many smiles, giggles and lovely memories made 💛
