We are making the most of the Sunshine and have been outside lots over the last few weeks. We like to visit animals and go for walks as well as enjoying the garden. We continue to visit tots groups and Bookbugs and enjoy songs and stories.

Some photos of what we have been up to lately.

We have a new mindee who is settling in well. Two of our mindees have had birthdays. I hope you had a lovely day. We have also said goodbye to one of our mindees who has moved.
We have enjoyed a mixture of activities including stories, puzzles, board games, baking, crafts, walks, Park trips, outdoor play in the garden and visits to Tots groups, bookbugs, Frostys and Innoflate with tots.

We've had a busy few weeks since New Year, visiting Parks, Bookbugs and Tots groups. We read some Scottish books for Burns day and this week made snakes and had Egg fried rice for snack to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Some of the older children tried eating with Chopsticks. We have also been baking.

Some photos of what we have been up to over the last wee while. We have enjoyed trips to Tots Groups, Frostys, Bookbugs, the Park, walks and playing at home and in the garden. We have settled in a new mindee who has now started with us and 2 of our mindees turned 2 last week. We hope you had a great time and we all enjoyed the cake.

This week was the first week of the school holidays so we have had some children off and have seen others a bit more with being off school and nursery.
We have visited a new to us play area, played with playdough, painted Spiders, baked Brownies, visited Tots, taken part in an online bookbug session, walked in the field and woods, visited the park and this afternoon have been swimming and melted ice ghosts using pipettes and warm water. We are now closed for a week and will return on 21st October.

A busy couple of weeks with Park trips, Library visits and Tots groups. We had something different parked in our drive today and all the children enjoyed a wee sit on it before it left. A nice end to the week.

A trip to Frostys to end the holidays on Monday then back to the school routine from Tuesday. We have been to Tots and Bookbugs and enjoyed a Park trip after school.

A busy couple of weeks making Banana Loaf, visiting Parks, trips to Murton and Brechin Castle Centre, splashing in puddles, playdough, lots of outside play and a visit to Realm of Imagination with Tots to learn about marine animals and make an Octopus and a Jelly Fish.

A busy week back to work. We have visited the Library, Charleton Farm, 2 Parks and Tots where we decorated some biscuits and cupcakes. We also made some Cookies at home, have read stories and played mainly with the babies.

Some photos of a busy end to the Summer term and start of the school holidays. Lots of outside play, Park visits and a few trips to soft play have meant working on our gross motor skills - jumping, running, climbing, pulling,, pushing, twirling, swinging and sliding.
We work on our social skills with our groups and have plenty of free play at home including building and role play.
We had a visit to the Fire Station yesterday where we got to sit in the Fire Engine.
We have settled in 2 new mindees recently and will welcome more next term as we say goodbye to 3 children heading to school and nursery. I wish them well as they move onto their next chapter.
We are now closed for 2 weeks for our Summer Holiday and look forward to some more adventures when we come back.
