Kirkwall Grammar School will be open 9am-1pm on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 August with Mrs McKay, Mr Harvey, Mr Horne and a Careers Adviser available to speak to pupils.

Guidance staff at the KGS will also be available in the school on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 August, between 10am and 2pm to support with arrangements and discussions about courses. On Tuesday 11 August Mrs Beesley (Copinsay 1 and 5F2) and Mr Berry (Fara 1 and 6F2) will be available, while on Wednesday 12 August, Mrs Foggo (Copinsay 2), Mr Harvey (Eynhallow 1) and Mrs MacPherson (Eynhallow 2) will be available.

To book an appointment to speak to your Guidance Teacher on the appropriate day, contact the school office on (01856) 872 102 from Tuesday 4 August onwards.

Well done Tamsin!

What an achievement - Tamsin Blowfield secured a bronze medal in her 50 Freestyle in the 15 years age group at the Scottish Summer Champs yesterday 🎉

Nathan smith secured a fourth place in 50 butterfly fractions away from a bronze with a great performance 💪

Former Copinsay pupil Liam doing great working in a local business!

Meet the team ☺️

Liam started with us around 6 months ago and has been mostly working the tills, however today he set up his very first gondola of crisps. 🥳🥳

We think it looks fantastic!!!

Liam is a trooper on the tills and all the customers love his cheeky banter, you will still see him serving but he’s spreading his wings to start merchandising.

Former Copinsay pupils are doing amazing! Well done Brogan!

CRC has plenty to celebrate this month, and one standout achievement comes from a member of our own team - Brogan Russell, who has just earned straight A’s in his recent university exams.  Huge well-done Brogan!!
