NEW PLAYER REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! ⚽

Registration is now open for new players wishing to join Strathspey Rovers for the 2026/27 season.

Our U10s (2017s/2018s) and U12s (2015s/2016s) squads are now full and we expect some of our other squads to reach capacity, so we’d encourage you to register as soon as possible, remaining spaces will be allocated on a first come/first served basis. If an age group is full, it will no longer appear as an option on the registration form. To join the waiting list, please email - [email protected]

REGISTRATION FEES

Fees have been held at last season’s rates:

£200 – first child
£100 – each additional child

Payment can be made in full or spread across 10 monthly payments. Payments are processed through PayPal, but you don’t need a PayPal account – you can simply use a debit or credit card.

If registering more than one child, please include all players on the same registration form for the sibling discount to be applied.

FOOTBALL FOR ALL

We appreciate that registration fees can be a significant expense for some families. If cost is a concern, please don’t let it stop your child from playing.

Our 'Football for All Fund' is available to help with registration fees. Please speak in confidence to Suzie (Joint Chair), Angharad (Joint Chair & Child Welfare Officer), Margaret (Child Welfare Officer) or your team Head Coach.

A number of families have also kindly offered to contribute to the fund. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so by bank transfer using the reference 'Football for All':

TRAINING & MATCHES

Training starts w/c 17 August.

U14s train twice a week and players are expected to attend at least one session each week. League fixtures are generally on Sunday mornings.

U10 and U12 league fixtures are generally played on Saturday mornings until tournament season begins. There will occasionally be exceptions to the usual match days.

Training and match kit arrangements will follow in due course.

AN ASK FROM US

Strathspey Rovers is entirely volunteer-run and, as we continue to build on the progress made over recent seasons, we ask players and families to support the club by:

* Attending training regularly where possible.
* Arriving five minutes before training so sessions can start on time.
* Helping out in some way during the season – whether that’s at an event, baking a cake, helping with fundraising or pitch set-up, or lending a hand in another way.

Every bit of help makes a difference and keeps the club running. ⚽

We hope that all our pupils are enjoying their summer holidays. We have just over 2 weeks left before returning to school.

This is just a gentle reminder that Monday 17th August and Tuesday 18th August are In-Service Days.

We look forward to welcoming all pupils back to School on Wednesday 19th August 2026.

Participants can sign up to as many dates as they like to make the most of the varied locations on this year's calendar.

New tickets now released for our nature play summer holiday club in Aviemore and Grantown!

We were disappointed to learn this week that our application for funded places for our holiday club from MFR Cash for Kids wasn't successful this year. It's our 10th year of running holiday clubs, and each session every holiday around a quarter of the children attending have been referred on fully funded places through local primary schools. We're very grateful to the Rotary Club of Spey Valley for stepping in at the last minute to fund some places, but that does mean there are lots of places now available!

Good news for some people we hope, as it sold out within hours of opening booking about a month ago!

Full days of adventurous, child-led play in the woods for primary-aged children. 10am - 4pm, £40 per child per day, or £36 per day for more than one child, or more than one day! (10% discount applied automatically at check out)

The Kingussie Bike Jumble Sale is taking place on the same day as the Kingussie Primary School Summer Fete. Why not visit both??

The Spin project are also running free safety checks for bikes alongside the jumble if anyone planning to do the Bikeathon would like their bike checked beforehand 🙂
