Fountain Nursery

As we come towards the end of another fantastic term, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Lucy from Monkey Music and Coach Jon from Love the Ball for bringing so much knowledge, passion, and experience into our setting. 🎶⚽

The children absolutely love both extracurricular sessions, and it’s been wonderful to watch their confidence, skills, and enthusiasm grow each week.

This week we held coffee mornings in all three rooms. All of the rooms prepared activities for the children to engage in with their parents alongside baking a treat for their parents to try

Robins created cheese scones
Owls created rock cakes
Sparrows created chocolate egg biscuits

Our spring coffee morning wouldn’t be complete without some furry friends and so with each coffee morning the ducks were present to have some cuddles.

The team at fountain nursery all really enjoyed the coffee morning and we hope parents enjoyed spending time with their children in their environment and also having a chance to chat with fellow parents and management tea over a drink and a treat.

Our duck eggs arrived today. The incubator is in Owls room so the children can keep an eye on them. One duckling hatched this afternoon! We need names for our 5 ducklings, please suggest some! They'll move to the lobby cage when they're ready for everyone to see.

Nursery had a blast with Easter activities this week, including weekly baking, room crafts, and outdoor fun with tuff trays.
