Today I had the privilege of returning to my old school, ,for their careers fair.
Walking back into the sports hall where I once stood as a student was a surreal moment. Years ago I was sitting where those students are now, trying to figure out what my future might look like. Today I was there sharing my journey as the Director of Early Years PE.
It was a fantastic opportunity to speak to students about the different pathways available after school, and to show them that careers don’t always follow a straight line. I spoke about how my passion for sport and education eventually led to creating a business that now delivers physical education programmes to nurseries and young children.
What stood out most was how engaged the students were. Many were curious about entrepreneurship, working with children, and how turning an idea into a business actually happens. Seeing them genuinely interested in the philosophy behind Early Years PE — helping children build confidence, movement skills, and a love of sport from the earliest ages — was incredibly rewarding.
It was also great to reconnect with some of the teachers who supported me during my time there. Moments like today remind me how important schools and mentors are in shaping the paths we take.
A big thank you to Wimbledon College for inviting me back. Hopefully a few of the students I spoke to today will go on to build something they’re passionate about too.
And who knows… maybe one day I’ll be hearing about their businesses at a future careers fair.

At Early Years PE, we deliver playful, structured physical education for children aged 1–5, designed to sit naturally alongside your existing provision — not replace free play.

Our sessions are EYFS-aligned, story-led, and built around developing confidence, coordination, balance and fundamental movement skills through imagination and fun. We work with babies, toddlers and preschoolers, adapting every session to suit the children, the space and your setting.

We’re currently inviting nurseries to book a FREE trial session, giving you and your team the chance to see exactly how our sessions work and the impact they can have on children’s engagement and physical development.

Adapting sessions to the environment!!

We've had to find the bits of the park that aren't waterlogged this week and although it's been difficult we've managed to keep the learning key and the fun high!

This lesson focused on the children continuing their rugby skills, moving like a snake and cuddling their ball like a teddy bear

Avoiding the obstacles and running from try line to try line reinforcing previous weeks learning.

We then moved into the area to enjoy some free time with the rugby balls.

Adapt adapt and adapt!

🎄🌟🍽️🎁 Our First Ever Early Years PE Christmas meal!!!

Yesterday was the first ever Christmas party I've organised for my team and I couldn't be prouder 🤗

Myself, my Wife and my rock Jade Candy and my 2 incredible coaches Ellen and Heidi.. a small team but a powerhouse of a team! 💪🏼

This time last year I was on my own, contemplating whether to recruit and how I'd do it. I hired and lost staff just as quick and questioned a lot about myself and business as a whole 🥵

But almost out of nowhere, the stars seemed to align and I had the opportunity to bring in these 2 incredible coaches to the team! They both bought into the Early Years PE vision and dream and within the last 4 months we've secured 10 new contracts and are ready to grow again! 🌱

It wasn't a grand event with a hired out venue... it was a curry in Kings Cross 😂 but it was special... and bloody amazing 😋

Let's see how our Xmas party looks next year 👊🏼

Today marks 1 year of Early Years PE and we couldn't be happier! 😇

I have personally learnt more in this last year about myself, life, the industry and business than I ever have... but its been so so worth it! 🎈🎉
