What an amazing session!

Educare took on the climbing wall and we loved every second of it!

Big thank you to White Spider Climbing for making it such a fun and memorable experience for our little school.

Happy 100th birthday Sir David Attenborough - today we’re learning all about his life and hard work for our planet. We watched some of Planet Earth and sketched our own nature pictures.

Starfish visited Brixton Windmill and they learnt all about how London once grew its own food! This beautiful Grade II* listed mill is one of the last surviving windmills in London — and it’s still making flour today. The children had a fantastic workshop, learning the history and discovering how grain becomes the flour on our tables.

We loved reading Vera the Vegetarian Vulture by Alexandra Cox

As part of our Animal topic, we enjoyed reading Vera the Vegetarian Vulture and linking our learning to literacy. The children explored alliteration, building confidence with language through play, creativity, and imagination.

A lovely example of how we bring learning to life every day 

Our Starfish are becoming bakers! 

In Food Tech this week, each child made their own loaf of bread to take home and enjoy. A wonderful hands-on experience building confidence, independence, and life skills.

Learning that’s practical, purposeful, and delicious.

We’ve had a lot of fun celebrating books this week.

We had a lovely time celebrating Chinese New Year!
The children learnt about the Great Race, practised some Chinese writing, made beautiful lanterns, and enjoyed cooking and tasting delicious vegetable noodles , spring rolls and prawn crackers together.

A wonderful way to learn about and celebrate a special tradition!
