We're excited to launch the Alumni Archive Project! 🔍
Over the summer holidays, we discovered a significant collection of uncatalogued photographs in the archive. By sharing these images with our community, we hope to uncover the stories behind them and help identify the people, events, and moments they capture.
To begin, we're showcasing photographs featuring our famous Front Door, a much-loved focal point in countless KGS memories.
Do you recognise anyone in these pictures? Do you know when they were taken? We'd love to hear from you. Every piece of information helps us preserve and celebrate the history of KGS.

We are excited for our first event of the year - The Season Opener at Ditton Field! Old Kingstonian FC will face the KGS First XI at 10.30am - it should be a fantastic match.

Sturgeon Cricket 2026!
What a night! We were lucky enough to welcome Kingstonians from the class of 1952 through to 2025 down to Ditton. We also saw a number of previous staff members and parents - it was fantastic catching up. The Alumni team set 128 off 20 overs for the school team to beat. We have a number of events lined up for the Spring Term - if you are worried we have forgotten about reunions for those that left in the 80s don't worry we haven't forgotten you! We have something extra special in the pipeline! We have also found these brilliant photos during our event planning!

A Monday Memory!
As we count down the days to Sturgeon Cricket, we’ve dug through the archives and found the First XI who played in the very first match 20 years ago.
We’ll be back at Ditton on Friday 19 June for this year’s match and are very much looking forward to celebrating 20 years.

With so many large events taking place, it’s easy to overlook the smaller ones that bring our community together. Earlier this year, the Head Master and Sarah attended the Mid‑50s Lunch. One alumnus reflected:

Join KGS Rowing at the National Schools regatta this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Eton Dorney lake.

Following their successes at Thames Ditton and Poplar regattas this last weekend we are hoping for some big wins!

We will have a gazebo at plot 17 quite close to 1750m mark.
