A fantastic evening of football! ⚽️🐺

It was great to see 30 Year 7s get their very first opportunity to pull on the famous Wolfreton School kit against South Hunsley.

Some brilliant football played across the board, with every single player doing themselves and the school proud. In a hard-fought and evenly matched fixture, honors ended completely even across the teams:

3 Wins
3 Draws
Huge credit to both schools for a competitive, high-spirited evening. Well done, lads! 👏

On Tuesday we had a fantastic evening of primary school football as our cluster schools came together to enjoy a celebration of sport on our excellent facilities. The event provided pupils with the opportunity to represent their schools, develop their football skills and, most importantly, enjoy playing in a positive and supportive environment.
Our facilities provided the perfect setting for the event, allowing multiple games to take place and giving pupils the experience of playing on high-quality pitches. It was wonderful to see so many young players enjoying football while building friendships with children from across the cluster schools.

It was great to have Penshurst Primary School , Willerby Carr Lane Primary School, All Saints, St Andrews Kirkella, Acreheads, Anlaby primary.

Congratulations to eventual winners Willerby Carr Lane Primary School

On Friday we celebrated the European Day of Languages. Students got involved in a Teacher Treasure Hunt, they had to find 30 teachers around the school all wearing a badge with a foreign language greeting. In lessons they learnt about funny words in other languages, invented their own words and got the chance to go on a fact finding mission down the MFL corridor using the wall art!

🔦Spotlight on Religious Studies🔦
1. We have a wonderful cohort of Year 10 students that have just started their GCSE journey in Religious Studies at Wolfreton. They have made a fantastic start to the course and are really excited about learning more about this amazing subject!
2. The Religious Studies team were delighted that for the second year running a student from Wolfreton won the SACRE Religious Studies and Art competition for the KS3 category! The theme this year was diversity.

4&5. Year 13 are working incredible hard this year in preparation for the exams next year. We also have another enthusiastic group which have started the course in Year 12 - this term learning about the early Greek philosophers of Plato and Aristotle.
