Some nights feel bigger than they look on paper.

Technically, this was a one-night stay at The Barn Hotel & Spa in Grantham for the Lynx Ladies Gala. We arrived, got ready, went downstairs, had food, chatted, laughed, danced a little, survived the heels, slept, had breakfast, and came home.

But emotionally? It was much more than that.

This was our first proper crossdressing in public outing as Anna and Harriet.

Not just dressing at home, taking photos and not just talking about crossdresser confidence as an idea. This was walking into a real public space, in front of real people, and finding out what it actually felt like to be seen.

Taking the first step into a new community space can feel daunting, but you may be more welcome than you imagine.

We recently spent a lovely day with the team at Simply Wigs in Slaithwaite 💕

Harriet explored different styles, colours and fits, while we talked about how much the right wig (and the right support) can affect confidence. We also chatted about making wig appointments feel welcoming and comfortable for crossdressers and anyone exploring their gender expression.
