Massive congratulations to the children who successfully constructed a child-sized tunnel in the sandpit!
This is play at its very best, with children independently learning to be engineers. Just imagine the rich language, critical thinking, collaboration, and sense of achievement these children are experiencing every lunchtime.

Year 4 Panthers – Stay and Read
Thank you for joining us this morning! Stay and Read is a lovely opportunity for parents and carers to spend time in the classroom, sharing books with their child and enjoying reading together. It helps build confidence, supports learning, and shows children how important reading is. We hope you enjoy this special time together!

Our EYFS children have been busy preparing the home corner to β€œgo up for sale” as part of our transition conversations. 🏑✨

As the children begin thinking about their move to Year 1, we help them to understand the process of moving on and making space for new children to come into EYFS. Through role play and discussions, the children explore these changes in a familiar and meaningful way.

The home corner sale has sparked lots of wonderful conversations about growing up, new beginnings, and exciting next steps. We are so proud of how thoughtfully the children are embracing these changes. πŸ’›

Our EYFS children have loved enjoying the carrots they grew from seed! πŸ₯•βœ¨

From carefully planting the tiny seeds to watering and caring for them each day, the children have loved watching their carrots grow. Seeing the excitement on their faces as they harvested and tasted them was truly wonderful!

What a fantastic hands-on learning experience and a brilliant way to encourage healthy eating too. We are so proud of our little gardeners! πŸŒ±πŸ’š

We’ve started harvesting our potatoes! πŸ₯”βœ¨

The EYFS children are absolutely over the moon with this year’s potato yield. What an amazing experience it has been! Since early Spring, the children have planted, cared for, and nurtured our potatoes, watching them grow day by day.

Now comes the best part β€” cooking and tasting them! πŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ˜‹

We are so proud of all their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the process. .

After looking at Vincent Van Goghs Sunflowers painting, Chicks each painted their own sunflower. Look at some of the wonderful work they created! 🌻

Year 4 Panthers – Trip to York 🐾

Our Year 4 Panthers had a fantastic day exploring York, with an exciting visit to JORVIK Viking Centre followed by a tour around the historic city. The children loved stepping back in time to experience life as a Viking and were amazed by the sights, sounds and smells of the past!

We also enjoyed exploring the beautiful city of York, learning about its rich history and spotting famous landmarks along the way. The children represented the school brilliantly and showed great curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Hull Children’s University for leading such a well-organised, engaging and memorable trip – we truly appreciate all your hard work in making the experience so special for our pupils.

Well done, Panthers – we are very proud of you! 🐾✨
