Let’s pretend I’m turning 29 tomorrow rather than 33 🥲 if I’m being honest, this past year has had highs and lows that I never expected, and I’ve learnt more about myself in the last 12 months than the previous 12 years 😂 overall, it’s been a blast, and I’m so grateful to those of you that have come on the journey with me 🫶🏻 let’s see what 33 is all about 🤪

Day 2 and I’m already clutching at straws for things to talk about because the reality is that, like most of us, I just get up and go to work every day 😂

DEAR GOD WHAT AM I DOING?!

Apparently, it’s a smart idea to push yourself out of your comfort zone, so I’m (loosely 👀) committing to 30 days of Spanish in the wild - just me, and my brain, and my relatively simple life, speaking Spanish.

As you’ll see, this little series/ challenge/ thing is absolutely not polished and is an insight into how my slightly forgetful mind works ☺️

But you never know, it might just teach you a word or two! So follow along and come back tomorrow for day 2 where we’ll be talking about f**k knows what 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

So this morning I unexpectedly cried my little eyes out 🥹😂 “The beauty of these classes is that they force you to speak” “But you never feel afraid to say you don’t know something or to ask for help” “and Hannah is really cool” 👀🤪 All I ever wanted was to create a safe space where people can speak some Spanish and not be afraid to make a fool of themselves every so often (because lord knows I do 🥲) The progress this group have made in the last 12 months is insane, but maybe even more than that, the way they’ve gelled together, the way they help each other, the way they can take the p**s out of each other - I could talk about it forever because it is the most beautiful thing to witness 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Ummmmm hi hun I’m on the radio 👀💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️ I always knew I had the perfect face for it 😂 in all seriousness, I’m so buzzing that the wonderful from came down to one of my classes to witness the gorgeousness that is learning Spanish together ✨ and OFC it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t have a *tiny* rant about Duolingo (but in my defence he started it 💁🏼‍♀️) I’ll be live on your radio all this week, along with some of my incredible students, so make sure you tell Alexa to set her alarm and listen 💃🏻
