Happy Half Term everyone! ☀️

The butterflies are here! 🦋
I’m very excited to say they hatched overnight and are nearly ready to be released. We have been feeding them and helping them dry their wings.

I even managed to capture a video of the last butterfly hatching out of its cocoon! 🦋✨

We will need to release the butterflies while we are away from school, but I promise I will take a video for you all to see!

Year 2 received a letter from Earth today! They were inspired to draw pictures back. Haven’t they done an amazing job!

We are so incredibly proud of our Year 6 children and all they have achieved this year. They are remarkable young people with a wide range of talents, skills and qualities. We wish them lots of luck for their SATs next week and hope they know how amazing they all are!

A creative, fun and exciting morning was had in year 3! We have created jungles using a range of materials to create imprints to celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday! We will spend the afternoon writing our letters to the Earth to go with our amazing paintings! 🌏🍃🌲🌳🌱

The REACH Room went to explore transport at the museum.

Year 3 had a great afternoon consolidating their learning about the parts of a flowering plant and writing fact cards about their functions! 🌷

We are delighted to share that FS2 allocations have now been received, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming our new families into the STC community.
