Roll and cover the number- football edition 😍⚽️🎲

The children took turns rolling the dice, counting how many dots they landed on, and finding the matching number to cover.

It was a lovely way to practise counting, number recognition and taking turns! Even our younger children got involved, they loved repeating the numbers together and everyone was joining in and encouraging each other. Such a simple activity with so much learning through play! 💛

This week, our children will be taking part in a special dance session with the wonderful Little Movers Rotherham who is raising money for Western Park Cancer Charity🕺🏻🪩

We’ve been very busy celebrating World Cup Week here⚽️🌍

The children have painted football pitches, rescued frozen footballs from ice, designed their own football shirts, practised their football skills and shooting, rolled balls to one another, and decorated footballs too! 🥅⚽️

We’ve had so much fun getting into the World Cup spirit while learning through play and developing our physical skills along the way! ❤️🙌🏼⚽️
