WOW! Guess what our new-look Springhead Lilywhites achieved today? They only went UNDEFEATED in their very first competition as a football team!

Our brilliant girls finished in an amazing third place at a local cluster tournament, securing two wins along the way and only narrowly missing out on passage through to the next round.

We are so proud of everyone’s commitment and teamwork. You all ran your socks off and kept encouraging each other, when watching from the sidelines.

Well done to each and every one of you! X

Year 2 have been sorting animals this afternoon, we paid particular attention to the amphibians. We learnt that they have moist skin, webbed feet to help them swim and they live both on land and in the water 🐸

Year 6 spent the afternoon looking at one point perspective. They also practised shading, ensuring that the darker colours were in the centre to give the illusion of the shapes coming off the page. Some budding artists in the making!

A fantastic effort from our new boys’ football team, the Springhead Blues, who kicked off their season with a cluster tournament against some talented and fierce local opposition.

Our team showed great determination, energy and impressive teamwork on their way to registering two wins and two draws.

We are super proud of everyone, onwards to the next tournament!
