I love this picture by former teacher John Geekie fn the school from the Westwood. Not a view you see much, but one we have all seen when doing cross country.

A very interesting article about a pioneering Art Teacher who's first job was at Beverley Grammar School... https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/26460497.bradford-artist-pioneer-teaching-art-children/

Well done to our upper 6th form on getting some excellent "A" level results.

Well done to all our Year 13 students on their A level results! It's lovely to see all your hard work pay off. Good luck with the next chapters. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Another year and another great turnout for the annual BGS Old Boys' golf competition held on Friday 3rd July. Some 30 old boys, teachers and current staff entered the competition in what turned out to be a very high scoring and competitive event. Congratulations to Eddie Walker (1st), Mark Rose (2nd), Jim Postill (3rd) and Ian Holland winner of the nearest the pin competition at the 18th. A fantastic day and more than anything, a great way to catch up with old friends. Full entry list, scores and photos from the day attached. Next year's competition will be held on Friday 2nd July.

Well done to those students. What are your memories of competing for the school at athletic events?

Well done to our year 7, 8 and 9 athletes who took part in a competition at Market Weighton school last week. Mr Lamplugh said they were all fantastic and put together some decent performances as a team.

A photo from 1999 that even has all the names. If anyone recognises themselves we'd love to know what they are doing these days???

Another cricket photo from the 1960s. Seem to recognise some of the students from recent photos, but anyone know who the teacher was?
