GCSE Results Day 2022:
Always a truly nerve-racking time for both students and staff alike.
For us, Team English celebrate their best ever results.
Grade 4+ = 78%
Grade 5+ = 66%
Grade 7+ = 31%
16 students achieving a grade 9!

This is beyond remarkable, not just because it means that nearly 1 in every 3 students has left us with, what is in old money, an A or A* grade, but because of the stop/start Key Stage 4 career that the students had to endure, thanks to our ol’ friend Covid.
In their Year 10 ‘bubbles’ they spent large amounts of time away from the academy, but the time, effort and dedication that these legends applied to their studies paid off brilliantly. What an incredible life lesson that we can all learn from: you get out, what you put in!

If any of your results, for any subject, weren’t what you needed, don’t give up! Adversity can make you stronger!

Year 11: Thanks to our excellent graphic designer, Mr Nicholson, the Year Book has been completed and professionally printed.
