Our Exams Team will be ready, and our amazing tutors, support staff, and careers advisor will be on hand to celebrate with you, offer advice, and answer any questions about your next steps.

Can’t make it in? Your results will be available to view online via on ProPortal on Friday.

𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴. 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱. 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁.

If Jensen Ellam had to sum up his time at Hull College in three words, those would be them.

After two years studying Level 3 Criminology, Psychology and Law, the 18-year-old has achieved a Distinction Star in Law, a B in Criminology, and a Merit in Psychology - exceeding the grades he needed to secure his place at university.

But for Jensen, Results Day wasn't just about the grades. It was proof of how much he'd changed since first starting college.

“I’m very proud. All my time in the library and the many hours I’ve put in have really paid off. I’m a completely different person from when I first started college at 16. The main difference in me is my confidence and discipline. I volunteered to be the class representative for my course, and that really taught me leadership, organisational, and communication skills.”

Now, that transformation is taking Jensen to the University of York to study Law, where he's ready to take on his next challenge.

“The plan was to study Law at the University of York. Now that I’ve got the grades I needed, everything is signed off and ready to go. I’m ecstatic! I haven’t made my mind up in terms of what area of law I want to go into yet. I’m still deciding between corporate law and criminal law - but I’m looking forward to seeing where it takes me.”

From a 16-year-old starting college to a Distinction Star and heading to university - what a journey, Jensen. Huge congratulations! 👏
