Our Ladies A claimed a hard-earned 5-4 victory 💜

Every set was fiercely contested, with some brilliant shot-making and great team spirit on court. The girls stayed focused, dug deep when it mattered most, and edged a really tight contest to take the win!

Big congratulations to the whole team for a superb performance, and a big thank you to Lympstone A for such a great match.

Our Ladies A side took on Exeter G&CC A in the Exeter District Summer Tennis League — and it was our first defeat of the season, finishing 4-5 in a super tight contest!

Every single match was hard-fought, with some brilliant rallies, great sportsmanship and plenty of impressive tennis played all round. While the result didn’t go our way, the team gave it absolutely everything right to the very last point 💪

Huge respect to Exeter G&CC A for a fantastic game — a really enjoyable match played in great spirit.

On we go though! We’ll be back fighting in our next fixture 💜

Great team photo from last night’s tight contest away to Woodbury B!

It was a really close, hard-fought match all round – and we have to give a huge special mention to Nick, who unfortunately picked up an injury mid-match. Despite being in pain, he hobbled around valiantly to win his second set tie-breaker, and then went on to take the championship tie-breaker too – absolute determination and sportsmanship at its finest! 👏👏

Massive effort from every single one of the lads last night, and thanks to Woodbury B for hosting and for a great game.

Sadly it was a 0-8 loss in our final match of the Exeter District Summer Tennis League season, facing a very strong Torquay A side who sit top of the league!

We may not have taken the scoreline, but there was some fantastic tennis played on court. A special shout-out goes to Sandra and Lee, who contested two absolutely epic matches that went right to the wire 💪

Every single one of you gave your absolute all tonight – well battled, ladies! You should all be so proud of how you’ve represented the club this season 👏🥰 xx

Kingsteignton Ladies B took a fantastic 6-4 home win against Willand B in the Exeter District Summer Tennis League! 💪

It was honours even overall, with Willand B beating us on their home court earlier in the season — so everything still very evenly matched! ⚖️

Great tennis played by everyone on court, with some brilliant rallies and solid play throughout 🤩. We also had lots of supporters cheering us on, which made it even better.

A perfect, lovely evening for tennis — couldn’t ask for much more! ☺️💜
