As we are into our first full week back, we are considering Article 29 in school. It stresses that education must develop every child's personality, talents and abilities to the full. It must encourage the child's respect for human rights, as well as respect for their parents, their own and others cultures, and the environment. This is something we pride ourselves in at St Thomas'.

🎒📚 Back to School is almost here! 🎒📚

We are SO excited to welcome all of our wonderful children and families back to school on Thursday 3rd September!

Our team has been hard at work getting the classrooms prepped 📚, the hallways ready ✨, and everything set for an incredible, fun-filled year of learning 🧠, growing 🌱, and making new memories together 😊.

Rest up 😴, get those backpacks 🎒 ready uniforms ready, and enjoy these last few days of the summer break ☀️😎.

Holiday Club is back!

We are running the SHIPWRECKED club in our Church building on The Avenue, Kidsgrove. It will run from 9.30am to 12.15pm on Monday 17th – Friday 21st August. We’ll be rounding off the week at our All Age Service on Sunday 23rd.

It’s going to be great fun – and we'd love you to be part of it! If you'd like to join us, please book using the form below.

SHIPWRECKED is for 5-11 year olds. Each day costs only £1 per child (to a maximum of £2 per family per day). You'll love the fast moving club where you can try your hand at crafts, games, joining in Bible stories, all mixed in with live music from a band and our very own stranded sailors!

Places are limited, and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. All the leaders are well known to us at St Thomas’ Church, and are DBS checked. If you have any queries, please phone Iain Baker (St Thomas' Vicar - 772895).
